The selections are uplifting and beautifully performed by Ms. Small and Friends, with featured artist Robert Mack, of the Metropolitan Opera.

As Survivors of the 9/11 attack on the WTC, Charlotte Doreen Small and her partner Robb Sibarium decided they needed to do something to help the local communities continue to provide the spiritual music that has moved so many.

DMS12 RELEASES GET DIRTY (JUICY MUSIC), JUNE 24TH, 2010

NEW YORK, NY (May 24th, 2010) – Internationally acclaimed and respected house music label JUICY MUSIC releases the debut full-length artist album from studio technician/DJ/producer, DMS12, GET DIRTY (Juicy Music), on June 24th, 2010. A collection of nine hand-picked tunes composed over the course of fourteen months, GET DIRTY is a true artist album in the traditional sense (as opposed to a mere collection of same-sounding club bangers), with an aural goodness to engage all moods.

From the Latin-tinged saxophone wail of “Saxin’ It Up” to the tension-inducing chug of “Move Your Body,” and from the foreboding strings of “El Vigilante” to the minimal-techno of “Electronix,” GET DIRTY showcases DMS12’s production chops. Pop sensation DAVID GUETTA even ranked “El Vigilante” (ROBBIE RIVERA Mix) as #4 on the FMIF Anthem Chart in Pacha Magazine. Exemplifying controlled mayhem on instrumental tracks like “Promise,” and a milky futurism on “Supercomputer,” DMS12 takes the studio skills he mastered while working for EMILIO ESTEFAN and applies them to an electronica album. DMS12’s ease behind the console is heard in the smooth offerings of “This Is Acid” right down to the druggy allure of “Take Me Down.”

Born in New York City and later living in Miami, DMS12 (real name: Diego Sanchez) caught the attention of the global dance music community in 2009 when his bootleg remix of FAITHLESS’ timeless slayer ,“Insomnia” (DMS12 Mix), overtook EDM chat rooms and download sites and eventually worked its way onto big-room dancefloors. After a three-year stint working for ESTEFAN that began in 2001, DMS12 embarked on a string of successful remix projects that included BEYONCE’s “Naughty Girl” (DMS12 Remix) – which hit #1 on the Billboard Dance and Dance Radio charts for 27 weeks – GWEN STEFANI’s “Holla Back Girl” (DMS12 Mix), COLDPLAY’s “Viva La Vida” (DMS12 Mix), as well as remixes for LAUREN HILL and Juicy Music founder and label chief, world-renown DJ/producer, ROBBIE RIVERA. In 2007, PAUL VAN DYK hailed DMS12 as VAN DYK’s #1 pick in his “top 10” for August, for DMS12 vs ANIOSIS’ “Heavy Water.” The phone hasn’t stopped ringing ever since.

A North American tour for GET DIRTY will soon be underway. For more information on Juicy Music, ROBBIE RIVERA or DMS12, contact EMILY TAN MEDIA RELATIONS at +1(917) 318-3758, EmilyEmilyTan@aol.com, or visit www.juicymusic.net and http://dms12.com/bloging/.

 LISA BRIGANTINO, AWARD WINNING SINGER-SONGWRITER
AND FORMER FOUNDING MEMBER OF LEZ ZEPPELIN
ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF HER LATEST SOLO CD “WONDER WHEEL”

May 20, 2010 - Lisa Brigantino, award-winning singer-songwriter/composer/multi-instrumentalist and former founding member of Lez Zeppelin (the all girl, Led Zeppelin tribute band), announces the release of her latest solo CD “Wonder Wheel,” an eclectic collection of original songs ranging from Rock to Folk, Pop to Blues, plus Old-Time, Americana and more.  The album will officially be released on June 7th, 2010.  Brigantino’s debut album “A Brooklyn Night” received great reviews and international airplay and garnered a Citation of Merit from past Brooklyn Borough President Howard Golden.

“Wonder Wheel” was recorded and produced by Brigantino and husband Tomi Millioto in their
Brooklyn studio.  The album contains 13 tracks all written and performed by Brigantino with guest performances by Tomi Millioto, Lori Brigantino, Susan Haefner and Jerry Snee. With most of the instruments played by Brigantino, the arrangements show off her versatility as an artist ranging from mellow vocals and finger picked acoustic guitar to full blown rocking band arrangements with Brigantino deftly handling electric guitars, bass, keyboards and more.  The Examiner has put Brigantino on their list of “2010 Breakout Artists.”  KRUU-FM says, “Spend a few minutes perusing Lisa Brigantino’s website and links and you’ll start to wonder if there is anything this talented musician can’t do!”  Women of Substance Radio says, “Lisa is a true artist who has mastered countless styles of writing, singing and performing. This New Yorker moves effortlessly from a sensitive acoustic ballad to an in-your-face bluesy romp without skipping a beat.”

“I really had no intention of including references to Brooklyn in my second album,” says Brigantino.  “However, I came across a fantastic photo of the Coney Island Wonder Wheel that my sister Lori had taken. Coney Island is one of my favorite places and the idea of the Wonder Wheel being a metaphor for life gave me the inspiration to write a song with that title. It ended up being the perfect title track for the album and Lori’s photo is the album cover.”

A trained composer with a Master of Music degree in music composition and theory from SUNY Fredonia, Brigantino composes for TV, film and more.  Brigantino also performs in “The Vickie & Nickie Show,” a crazy musical-comedy act with her sister Lori.  Brigantino was a founding member of Lez Zeppelin, the world’s first all girl Led Zeppelin tribute band and played bass, keyboards and mandolin.  She toured internationally with the band playing A list venues and festivals including Bonnaroo. They released their self-titled debut album in 2007 recorded and produced by the legendary Eddie Kramer.  Brigantino says “Although it was a great ride with Lez Zeppelin, I left the band in early 2009 to get back to doing my own original material.”

You can currently find Lisa Brigantino performing in support of “Wonder Wheel.”  For more information, please visit http://www.lisabrig.com,http://www.sonicbids.com/LisaBrigantino and http://www.myspace.com/LisaBrigantino.

ROBBIE RIVERA RELEASES “ROCK THE DISCO” SINGLE, DAVID GUETTA & LAIDBACK LUKE REMIXES

 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ROBBIE RIVERA RELEASES “ROCK THE DISCO” SINGLE, DAVID GUETTA & LAIDBACK LUKE REMIXES

NEW YORK, NY (May 17th, 2010) – Iconic house music DJ/producer ROBBIE RIVERA releases the third single from his über-hot artist album, CLOSER TO THE SUN (Ultra/Black Hole), “ROCK THE DISCO.” With ceiling-shattering remixes by superstar sensation DAVID GUETTA and rising star LAIDBACK LUKE – in addition to RIVERA’s own, thrilling, Juicy Ibiza Mix – “ROCK THE DISCO” is blazing a path across soundsystems from Toronto’s Guvernment to Ibiza’s Privilege to Las Vegas’ Wet Republic Ultra Pool, and all points in between.

With precious little time for taking on any other artist’s remixes, GUETTA – whose own singles include “When Love Takes Over” featuring KELLY ROWLAND, “Sexy Bitch” featuring AKON, as well as a remix for the BLACK EYED PEAS’ “I Gotta Feeling” – was drawn to the allure of RIVERA’s “ROCK THE DISCO” and agreed to craft a remix almost immediately. The result is a filthy, big-room electrifier guaranteed to make a bootie shake. LUKE also fell in love with RIVERA’s original mix and requested to make his own edit by adding a more aggressive kick and further effects for a heavier, earth-jarring take on the original. RIVERA’s own Juicy Ibiza mix brings “ROCK THE DISCO” to the Balearic clubbing crowds and is sure to be deemed a summer anthem by the time September rolls around. With support from DJ friends including TIËSTO – who has been dropping RIVERA’s “We Live For The Music” at live shows – RIVERA continues to reinforce the high-caliber reputation of his JUICY MUSIC label.

Hailing from Puerto Rico and a long-time resident of Miami, RIVERA is an internationally respected DJ/producer whose sexy, tribal-tinged, thumping grooves are time-tested and proven on dancefloors as varied as outdoor beach and pool parties (i.e. Juicy Beach at WMC), super-sized festivals (i.e. Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Wish and Stereo Festivals in the Netherlands), and darkened, late-night clubs (i.e. Guvernment in Toronto, Avalon in Los Angeles). One thing is certain: clubbers come smiling and leave happy when RIVERA is onstage. Dance music lovers get a special treat this summer during RIVERA’s residency with TIËSTO at Privilege in Ibiza (“the world’s biggest club”) on July 12, 26, August 9, and 30.

LOS ANGELES, May 14, 2010 – The Air Conditioned Supper Club in the Westside Los Angeles artist enclave of Venice, might be the last place you would expect a Hip Hop Summit, but thanks to Matt Diamond, of Diamond Lane Entertainment, KRS-One, the master of Conscious Hip Hop and Luminaries, the seven-piece Conscious Hip Hop collective, its going to happen.

KRS-One founded the legendary Boogie Down Productions, releasing a granite-solid 19 full-length albums. He also founded theTemple of Hip-Hop and Stop the Violence Movement, for which they received a Lifetime achievement award from BET in 2008.Temple of Hip Hop calls on all fans to celebrate Hip Hop Appreciation Week, occurring in the third week of May. It encourages DJs and MCs to teach about the culture of Hip Hop, to write more socially conscious songs, and radio stations to play more socially conscious hip hop.

Luminaries have a vast, growing fan base thanks in part because their video "Peace" was chosen by Youtube India to be the number one featured video in the weeks immediately following the Mumbai bombings.  The band has been playing festival main stages and catching the attention of a wide variety of socially conscious artists including Somalian Hip Hop musician K’Naan, and Hasidic Reggae/Hip Hop artist Matisyahu who caught the Luminaries’ set at last summer’s Harmony Festival in Santa Rosa.  In an inspiring moment, Joan Baez made a surprise appearance and joined the band onstage for a rousing version of Amazing Grace.

The May 20th show falls in the middle of Hip Hop Appreciation Week, and brings together KRS-One and Luminaries in an intimidate venue. The show will be a homecoming for a family of LA based poets and musicians, and bring together fans and hip-hop artists to focus on real, socially conscious change in the community and the world.
